Crossing the Humber: The Humber River Heritage Bridge Inventory

A national award winner from the National Trust of Canada for Volunteer Contribution, Susan was the Project Manager of Crossing the Humber: The Humber River Heritage Bridge Inventory. As the first-ever heritage bridge inventory conducted within the Greater Toronto Area, Crossing the Humber discovered 13 bridges with features of heritage interest in the watershed after being reviewed by an expert committee within the award-winning Humber Watershed Alliance, including famous Canadian Bridge Engineer Roger Dorton, C.M., Ph.D., P.Eng.. Susan successfully led the initiative which also protected and restored the last remaining stress pony truss bridge in the Humber watershed, the Sneath Bridge.
