In partnership with JDI Business Services Inc, Incite Planning and Shared Value Solutions, People Plan Community hosted nine virtual community engagement sessions with both First Nations and Tribal Nations across the Lake Ontario watershed in 2021 as part of the Expedited Review process for Plan 2014 on behalf of the International Joint Commission (IJC).
In 2020, People Plan Community created an Environmental Unit Framework for the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. The Framework established clear goals, structures, and roles to help the Department of Consultation and Accommodation meet its constitutional consultation and engagement responsibilities.
People Plan Community supported Camp Naivelt, a century-old cultural landmark in Brampton, by providing planning guidance to ensure nearby development respected its heritage and environment. The work helped protect the site’s cultural and natural integrity through community-centred planning.

In partnership, People Plan Community engaged with First Nations in 2023 on behalf of the Great Lakes Water Quality Agreement, Annex 4 (Nutrients) for Environmental and Climate Change Canada, to develop meaningful relationships in accordance with the Annex of the Agreement.

Providing facilitation and planning support for the Mississaugas of the Credit Council House renovation to strengthen cultural and governance capacity.
