This initiative supported dialogue and collaboration between Batchewana First Nation and the International Lake Superior Board of Control in the Baawaating region. People Plan Community facilitated cross-cultural engagement sessions and collaborative planning discussions focused on shared environmental stewardship and community relationships to assess the impact from water level fluctuations on White Fish Island. The work emphasized building long-term trust and mutual understanding as the foundation for future planning and policy collaboration.

In 2020, People Plan Community created an Environmental Unit Framework for the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. The Framework established clear goals, structures, and roles to help the Department of Consultation and Accommodation meet its constitutional consultation and engagement responsibilities.
